Our mission

We align buyer and producer objectives while sourcing delicious, authentic wines for the U.S. Consumer. We hold federal import and wholesale permits, and are vertically integrated as a distributor in Pennsylvania.

Emily K. Bell, Founder and President

As an eighteen year veteran of the wine industry, Emily has worked at the wholesale and producer levels, in both control states and free markets. Her passion for wine and gastronomy was learned in her Italian American grandparents’ kitchen and garden, and was the genesis of her education at the School of Hotel/Restaurant Management at Penn State and the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, where she did additional coursework at CIA’s Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies.  Following her time at CIA she lived and worked in Napa Valley for five years. During this time, she deepened her understanding of viticulture, winemaking, and terroir through close observation of viticultural and winemaking practices, and by working a section of a biodynamic St. Helena estate vineyard throughout an entire growing season. During this time she served as tasting panel columnist for the St. Helena Star and contributed to national wine publications. Emily is a Certified Specialist of Wine as designated by the Society of Wine Educators, and has also studied with the Court of Master Sommeliers. Prior to her tenure in the wine business, she worked in operations and sales and marketing for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, and completed the Disney Management Training Program. A past president of Slow Food Philadelphia, she has done volunteer work with the Wayne Art Center, as an election worker, and with her township and HOA. She served on the board of the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Association for the 2023 calendar year.
